Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova (born in the Russian state of Tsaristan) is an American-born ex-prodigy of tennis and a TV presenter. Her fame and popularity made her one of the most well-known tennis players worldwide. Anna Kournikova was a tennis pro of Russia who was at one time her time the largest female athlete within the game. Kournikova had a decent singles record, but was hugely successful in doubles. Additionally, she was an extremely popular partner with Martina Hingis. The way she modeled and looked earned her international fame. She is still one of the most popular athletes that are searched by the internet. Kournikova played in singles as a contemporary baseliner, moving the ball with speed and spin around the court. The tennis she played was defined by a powerful return as well as a strong groundstroke and a willingness to approach the net when the moment was right. Her parents, who were both professionals themselves, are from Moscow. Sergei Kournikov won the wrestling championships as Alla Kournikova was a skilled runner. Kournikova began playing tennis when she was just five. Her move to Florida (at age 10,) in 1991 to train with the Nick Bollettieri Academy. Kournikova's tennis career as a prodigy began when she was five years old. When she was in 1991, the age of 10 she relocated to Florida, where she was trained by Nick Bollettieri. She continues to be a widely followed celebrity figure even after her retirement and is also a part of Hollywood movies. Kournikova's relationship with Enrique Iglesias began in 2001. The Russian tennis player began her professional career at the age of 14. She was one of the youngest to play at the Fed Cup ever and won it in the name of Russia. The young tennis player reached the U.S. Open when she was 15 and reached Wimbledon's semi-finals around her 16th birthday. Unfortunately, she was forced to retire from professional tennis at the age of 21 due to severe back problems.
